When go to the restroom, go there to have a bowel movement. Don't take any reading material in there, because that keeps you in there longer. Sitting in the bathroom, puts pressure on your rectum and anal veins and eventually weakens the vein walls. Excess sitting can also aggravate the piles you already have. So, you don't want to sit there longer than needed.

Piles are like extra skin or inflammation that accumulates around your anus. That area can become itchy or painful to touch or movement.

You can eat a good diet and reduce the time in the bathroom to prevent piles and constipation, but if you don't exercise regularly, you are bound to get piles.
The other exercise that you can do is an anus exercise. Do this by pushing down like you are going to the bathroom and then pull back. Do this for a few minutes. Yes I know, this is uncomfortable to do, but if you don't do some of these exercises, then these piles will get worst as time passes.
